In my first blog, I shared the excitement (and nerves!) of taking the leap into my new business, CúanAngel. My first business plan focused on working with local businesses—helping them with branding and marketing, filling a gap where they lacked the time or skills to do it themselves. I saw a real need for this kind of support, and it felt like a natural first step in establishing myself as a creative partner for businesses in my community.

With a keen eye for design and marketing expertise, the founder of Cúan Angel identified a gap in the market for high-quality, professionally designed digital resources. The result is a collection of editable branding kits, templates, and tools that empower businesses to showcase their unique identity and values without the need for design skills.
By providing ready-to-use designs that exude professionalism and creativity, Cúan Angel helps businesses attract their target audience and drive profitability. Their focus on high-value products like branding kits makes them a go-to resource for small businesses and entrepreneurs looking to invest in top-notch digital assets.
Whether you're a start-up looking to establish a strong brand presence or an established business seeking to refresh your digital identity, Cúan Angel has the tools you need to succeed. With their commitment to quality and innovation, this company is poised to help businesses of all sizes thrive in the digital marketplace. If you're ready to take your brand to the next level, consider leveraging the practical digital solutions offered by Cúan Angel. With their expertise and dedication to excellence, you can elevate your business and drive success in today's competitive landscape.
But then another idea started taking shape—one that expanded beyond just local businesses. The thought of passive income kept appearing in my research, my vision board, and even my conversations. Could I create something once and have it continue to generate income? Could I help business owners while also building a business model that gave me the freedom to live the kind of life I dream of?
That’s how my second business plan was born.
The Shift: From One-to-One to One-to-Many
My first business plan was service-based, relying on one-on-one collaboration with businesses to help them with their branding and marketing. While this is still something I want to do, I started to realize that I could scale my impact by creating digital products that multiple businesses could use.
Instead of just offering branding and marketing services directly, I could develop:
Branding Kits – Ready-made, customizable Canva templates that businesses could use to define their visual identity.
Social Media Templates – Professionally designed content templates that businesses could quickly adapt to stay consistent online.
Marketing Toolkits – A collection of assets to help businesses plan and execute effective marketing campaigns without the stress of designing from scratch.
This shift meant that instead of always trading time for money, I could create systems that would allow my work to generate income while I focused on growth and creativity.
Why Passive Income?
The concept of earning money while you sleep is often seen as an entrepreneur’s dream, and honestly, I’ve been drawn to that vision for a long time. I see so many people talking about "living the dream"—traveling, taking time off, and still seeing sales come in from digital products they created once.
I want to see if that dream is real for me.
But passive income isn’t just about making money effortlessly. It’s about putting in the work upfront—creating high-quality, valuable products that businesses actually need. It’s about building a system where those products can be discovered and purchased over and over again. It’s a different mindset from client work, but one that offers the potential for scalability and freedom.
2025 Mood Board: Passive Income as the First Step
When I created my vision board for 2025, the first thing I placed on it was achieving passive income. Not just because I want financial security, but because I want the flexibility to design my life around creativity, family, and personal fulfillment.
My vision board includes:
A thriving online shop where my branding and marketing templates are selling consistently.
An engaged community of business owners using my products and finding value in them.
The ability to step away from my business for a holiday (without feeling guilty!) and still see my work generating income.
A balance between serving clients locally and scaling globally through digital products.
The First Steps Toward This Goal
Now that I have this vision, I need a clear plan to make it happen. Here’s what I’m working on right now:
1. Researching My Market
I need to understand what business owners actually need. What are their biggest struggles when it comes to branding and marketing? What templates or resources would make their lives easier?
2. Creating Digital Products
I’m designing the first set of branding kits and social media templates that businesses can customize quickly. I want them to feel polished, professional, and truly helpful.
3. Setting Up My Online Shop
Where will I sell my digital products? I’m looking at Etsy, my own website, and maybe even a Shopify store to host my designs and make them easily accessible.
4. Building a Social Media Presence
I need to start showing up online—sharing my journey, my products, and how they can help small business owners. This means creating content, engaging with my audience, and being consistent.
5. Testing and Improving
I don’t expect perfection from the start. My plan is to launch, learn, and refine my products based on feedback. The key is starting—not waiting until everything is perfect.
A Business That Works for Me
The biggest realization in this process is that I want to build a business that works for me—one that gives me joy, creativity, and flexibility. The first step is creating passive income streams, and I’m excited (and nervous) to see if this can become something real.
This is just the beginning, but I’m committed to making this dream a reality. If you’re on a similar journey—building something from the ground up, experimenting with new ideas, or chasing the possibility of living the dream—I’d love for us to connect.
Let’s see where this road takes us.
Here’s to creating, growing, and designing a life and business we love.
